And so Gus went home that night to take a shower. He did sneeze, but it was for a worthy cause. They say his odor lessened. Still, the tall man's odor still caused people to take a second whiff, as people do when they smell something disagreeable. You know, like when you smell something bad, but you want another sniff. That was the type of odor that characterized this man's presence. Still, it wasn't the same kind of smell that he had before. The town slept calmly that night, however, their calm sleep had nothing to do with Gus or his odor; the calm sleep of the town's people was unrelated to Gus at all.
