Both parties looked each other in the eyes and the Black Direwolf breathed hard. It was not as young as it used to be.
Roy threw dirt into its eyes and as it seemed disorientated once again, he struck fast with his legs to cripple it as fast as possible.
Unluckily for Roy, his first kill had its nose dulled by its illness. This Black Direwolf used its keen sense of smell to sniff out its aggressor and bite hard onto Roy's thigh. Roy screamed in agony as he pummeled the Black Direwolf's face, tearing through its eyeballs and ripping out its eardrums.
The Black Direwolf let go and began clawing at Roy's maimed leg to permanently cripple him. Panicked, Roy swung his other leg to smash into its face at the cost of being slashed. Roy pulled himself up against a tree as the Black Direwolf tried shaking some sense back into its ringing head.
Then Roy screamed a battlecry and flung himself at the beast like an insane beserker. The Direwolf recoiled backwards in surprise and raised its claws in defence. Anticip
