A Study of Wizards

What is a Wizard?
Many people think of them as mere fiction, Others think of them as people who think they have magic.
Others such as myself, believe they truely do have Magic. I should know, I've tried so many of the Suggestions that "Explain" how Wizards have their powers.
Is it Genetic?
No, it is not. I've tried having the DNA of a Wizard injected into a friend of mine awhile back. He experienced nothing different, No proficency in Magic was obtained, even after 10 years of trying to bring that magic out.
I can Safely say that Genetics is NOT the cause of Wizards.
Does the power come from something else?
Nope, The Wizard went through an Autopsy, and nothing.
Their Robes, Hat, and Sandals only acts as a Conduit for their power
They have no implants that would give them the ability to use Magic.
Is it an Anomaly?
That sure would be the easiest way to explain it. I mean it could be.
An Anomaly isn't something we can understand, as they often violate the laws of reality as Anomalies do. But they seem to be Born with this Anomaly, passed down from generation to generation.
And yet, it's not genetic.
Is it Taught?
Actually, Yes. A friend of mine once got their hands on a Spell Book, upon reading it they've suddenly gained the ability to cast Magic.
I've tried opening a wizard's spellbook awhile back and i had no such luck in translating the scribbles.
Damn, Looks like if i want Magic, i've got to learn it from a Wizard.
hah... fat chance, They're enemies of Nanotrasen, the Company that made me sign my soul to them just to get a job.
In Short, Wizards are People who have knowledge over an Anomaly known as Magic, capable of violating the laws of physics we normies hold dear.
Even after 19 years of studying them, i had no such luck in understanding Magic.
All i know is that Magic is not something to be toyed with.
It is not something to be denied.
It is real, and very very dangerous.
