The first two to awaken quickly found that the pilot had died, and their escape was at hand. They excitedly rushed to his body and began to pillage his gear. They tore open the pilot's locker and took the emergency oxygen tanks, along with some pickaxes from the mining tools that would have been their only belongings at the labor camp. After some time, two more awoke, but the other stasis pods remained silent, the inert bodies within still and unmoving. The band of four escaped NTP took on the names of their guards - as they before were known only by their NT prisoner numbers - and they set off into the lavaland wastes. They didn't get far though, not before finding a corgi, who seemed strangely unaffected by the lavaland around him. It's cheerful appearance and cute furry paws delighted the shaken surviving convicts, and the first prisoner proclaimed that this dog was to be called Lisa, and would escape from this hell with them.
