Fiction
Wazei-Ree thought to himself, "What would the ssspace people do..." He came to a conclusion, deciding, "I guesss they fly in ssspace ssso they'd take the wingsss." and he declared to the ghastly infernal ash-drake, "Let usss hear thisss riddle."
The Riddling Dragon, guardian of the necropolis pondered deeply, and after a time, hissed through his sharp teeth a riddle that no ash-walker had heard before. Wazei-Ree listened intently. "THE MORE OF ME THAT YOU TAKE, THE MORE OF ME YOU LEAVE BEHIND. WHAT AM I?" Wazei-Ree was stumped. He knew that if he were to answer this riddler incorrectly, this would be the final time his claws scraped the lava-earth. "Oh thisss isss a tough one," he considered, "and it doesssn't help that I keep hearing footssstepsss of another goliath waiting to attack me!" At this, the ash-drake abruptly burst into a resounding, roaring laughter that seemed to shake the very rock which Wazei-Ree stood.
