Fire poured from the ash-drakes open mouth, engulfing Wazei-Ree in glorious flame that made his scales sparkle and melt in the heat. The last thing Wazei-Ree saw as the dragon's massive claws clenched tight around him was an orange paw descending towards him from the heavens. Wazei-Ree felt it's fluffiness embrace him, and he knew he was going to be okay. Wazei-Ree felt a sense of belonging as he was pulled towards the light. Wazei-Ree had ascended to more than an ash-walker could ever aspire to be. Wazei-Ree had went with Lisa the All-Consuming, Lisa the All-Powerful, Lisa the Ever-Forgiving, Lisa the All-Yapping to a place of divinity, a seat among his ancestors on high. That fateful day, Wazei-Ree became a god.
