Rule Number One
Don't declare war on the station.

Declaring war on the station tends to be very problematic for a multitude of reasons. When you declare war, not only is the station aware of your presence and equipped to fight you off, but you have to give them ten fucking minutes to prepare.

In that time, it is entirely possible for Central Command to find your position and start gunning you down via bluespace artillery, and you'll be a sitting duck. By the time you get on the station, the AI's laws will be rewritten to exterminate you, borgs will be patrolling the halls packing heavy heat, and all the assistants will be wielding flamethrowers.

Now then, let's talk about being a good Syndicate.

To be a good Syndicate, I recommend going in sneaky-beaky-like. BUY A CHAMELOEN PROJECTOR, forge your Agent ID, and try to get a job on the station. It's really fun if you and your syndicate take over an entire department and slowly execute members of the station one-by-one.

So basically, stop being shitty murderboners when you could be a FUN syndicate.
