Around 5000 BCE a group of people lived in the Zagros mountains they lived a very good life farming in the mountains. But soon eough a problem arose! The population of the village was growing and they were lacking the farmland to feed everyone. (Now instead of killing the lower class which would have been a MUCH SMARTER IDEA) They decided to move from their mountain down to the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Then arose their second problem half of the year the soil down there was DRY and the other half snow from the moutains would melt and they would FLOOD the rivers. This ment if you planted to early your plants would not be able too get sturdy/moist soil and would eventually dry out, and if you planted to late the plants would not be strong enough to survive the floods. Now how do you solve this PROBLEM you might ask, well let me tell you.
