PART I: THE GEAR.
I would recommend a setup of double KA's. (Kinetic Accelerators) The modifications added are your choice, but I personally roll with 3 damage mods on each. I also nab a fire extinguisher, and about 4 pens. I would recommend more than that, about a webbing and a box full if you are inexperienced. Other than that, you DO NOT NEED TO:
-Upgrade your suit with plates (only melee resistance)
-Add bone bracers and talisman (again, no fire protection)
-Bring a firesuit (doesn't protect against the direct fire hits, and slows you down)
Once you are ready with that, you should begin constructing the arena.
