There once were a fine young gentleman. This fine young gentleman lived in a house far far away, out in the woods all alone. The man prefered to live alone because he felt it necessary, he was a werewolf. As night struck he would kill anyone in sight, be it man, woman or child. Therefor he took safetly preconsions every day, lock the door, block it with several layers and of course block out all windows. He even hang up meat in the room that he had put a sleeping drug on just to make sure he could stop himself from slaughtering people. One day he was out walking, he saw someone walk in the distance. He tried to hide from this presence, but failed and the person came closer and he could now see it was a beautiful woman. She went all the way up to him, she was crying and scared, she told him she had wandered these woods for several hours and was lost. She begged for his assistance, he looked at her with lustful eyes, he was a man after all and had not seen a woman in a long time. He agreed to help her, but only if she would allow him to kiss her. She looked at the man and smiled as she agreed, but he had to help her out of the forest first. So they began walking the fastest road he knew, it would only take a hour to walk and while they walked they talked and shared his water and food.He agreed to help her, but only if she would allow him to kiss her. She looked at the man and smiled as she agreed, but he had to help her out of the forest first. So they began walking the fastest road he knew, it would only take a hour to walk and while they walked they talked and shared his water and food. They reached the end of the forest, but they used longer than he had expected as they arrived the dark was beginning to fall. Knowing that he would be turning into that monster in a few hours, that thing he had to hurry back but she woulden't let him. She wanted him to stay the night, but he pushed her away began running for his life into the woods. He ran and ran, as fast as he could trying not to stop so he could prepare for the night. As he arrived, he could feel the power of the beast taking a hold of him, he could feel the craving for raw meat trying to take over, that is when he suddenly snapped, the beast was loose and all reasoning had been lost. The beast turned around, howling towards the moon, running on all fours through the forest and that is where it saw it, he saw the town full of people as its mouth began to water and drool fell from its mouth. The beast began to sneak into the city, looking for the perfect snack not wanting to get detected and it saw the perfect house, a lone woman was inside sleeping. The beasts eyes glistened happily at the sight, the hunger was getting unbearable so it went in the window, sneaked up to the bed and bit the womans neck and ripped off a big piece of meat, severing the vocal cords of the woman making sure she coulden't even scream. Now it could eat in peace and without fear of anyone hearing the screams of terror as it devourered its prey. It kept eating leaving only bones and a little piece of meat. The beast ran back through the forest to the house, happily on a full stomach but as the man woke up in the morning he could only see the blood around his mouth and the sick feeling that something terrible happened last night. He was conflicted but knew, he had done something terrible last night and went to the town to see if he had done any human harm, to his own disgust he had. He had killed the beautiful woman, the same woman who offered him hospitality, a stranger she just met, he had mauled, eaten her and he could not keep the tears from his eyes. He began to throw up, seeing pieces of her skin and meat appear on the ground infront of him made him even more sick, but it was now he noticed the worst thing he had done. He saw the town folk get a child from inside the house, the woman he killed was a mother. He coulden't take it anymore and decided to do the ultimate sacrifice. For the families that he could have seen flourish from afar, for the people he could have helped and for the children whos parents he took away. He took out his knife, held it to his throat and with one swoop he sliced it open. As he was laying on the ground dying a painful death, he thought back to his life before this curse. His friends, his family but his mind always went to his daughter. The one light in his life, but he haven't seen her in years because she died a long time ago, on the first night of his curse.StoryFiction story
