Michael Hunt: Liberation From The Gaybour Cam

Written By: Michael Hunt

Adult
It was twelve weeks later, when the once plucky and young Michael Hunt awoke from his cell to find Ray Gibson, the remarkably unrobust Head Of Security staring down at him. He pulled out the chain of command that he had stolen from the Captain's office. He began snapping the whip as he walked over to the cowering Michael. But this wasn't just any regular morning at the Gaybour Camp, this was the morning where Michael would be liberated. It all happened in a flash. Just as Ray raised the whip to begin his never ending punishment, he cried out in agony. At first, Michael thought he had just pulled a muscle in his back, after all, Ray wasn't the most athletic of people, but, when he saw the fountain of blood gush from his back in a manner that reminded Mike of his first punishment at the camp, he knew something was up.Then, like a colossal beast that had been slain by some valiant knight, he fell to his knees with a thud that echoed all the way to the mining station. It was at that moment when Michael saw the old, dirty figure of Bryan McCormac standing behind him, holding a toolbox that was once blue, but was now coated in a thick layer of Ray's blood. He said, as he bent down to pick up Ray's ID, "We're breaking out, today!"When they got onto the shuttle, Michael thanked Bryan for saving his life, and they looked into each other's eyes longingly and for a split second, they both leaned in to kiss. But, knowing that that had more important business to attend to, Bryan ran over to the shuttle console and typed in the co-ordinates for Space Station 13. They were finally going home, and the whole world would hear their story. As the airlock opened and they stepped out into the brig, their hearts simultaneously plummeted to the depths of despair as they saw a platoon of security officers with their energy guns aimed at the pair. But what shocked them even more was the person standing in front of the platoon. It was Phil McRevis, the Research Director that had organised Mike's capture. Bryan turned to Michael, brandishing the energy gun he had taken from Ray's cold, overweight corpse. The two shared an embrace that both wished would last forever, but was cut short when Bryan gave Michael a nod. So, under covering fire, Mike ran faster than he had ever run before, past the officers, out of the brig, and into maintenance. But in the process, a stray energy bolt had hit him, and he was now bleeding profusely from his abdomen. He knew he was now on borrowed time...As he was running through maintenance, he found a young botanist by Eugene MacGannigan wandering around. Noticing that Mike was wounded, he offered his finest "Medicinal" weed. But, Michael was having none of it, he grabbed Eugene, holding him like a human shield, and dragged him over to medbay.Michael dragged the botanist into medbay, to see the Chief Medical Officer, a young doctor named Allison Rockwell treating Mario Tagliatelli, the Chef, who had been stabbed by one of the greytide. Michael shouted "OPEN THE DOOR, CMO, OR THE BOTANIST GETS IT!" Terrified, Allison opened the door and then proceeded to open her office. Leaving the botanist outside, Michael ordered Allison to turn on her monitoring console, he had to see if Bryan was OK..."Get out, you're done here" Mike shouted to Allison, and she obediently left without question. His fingers frantically moving around the keyboard, he searched for the name of his lover. Letting out a cry of anguish as he saw the readings on the console, and hearing the pounding of stunsticks on the reinforced glass outside the office, Mike broke down into tears, taking one final look at the console. There was no way Bryan could have survived, and the console did nothing to tell him the truth, for all it told him was that he had forgotten to set his suit sensors to high, again...So it was here that Mike's story ended, with the RD breaking through the window and dragging him into the main hallway, and in front of all his fellow crew members, the young Michael Hunt, his heart aching from the combined loss of his lover, and the gunshot wound, took his final breath as Phil McRevis, the corrupt RD pulled the trigger, and executed Mike there and then...
