Print Job #248 (The Glass Cage)
Written By: Sarah Sutrine
Religion
Walls of glass do form the cage
In which I walk across my stage
A world of my own, a sight to behold
Forever living this story untold
Abscond the scene, I will be free
Soon I shall, for I must be
A man of wind in the world around me
Over fields I am yet to fly
Lightly gliding across blades of rye
The wind flows free, as do I
And under trees I will lie
Awake and asleep by transcendent eye
Still, I wander this cage of mine
In which I walk across my stage
A world of my own, a sight to behold
Forever living this story untold
Abscond the scene, I will be free
Soon I shall, for I must be
A man of wind in the world around me
Over fields I am yet to fly
Lightly gliding across blades of rye
The wind flows free, as do I
And under trees I will lie
Awake and asleep by transcendent eye
Still, I wander this cage of mine
