CHAPTER I
One ashy, dark and boiling day in the rocky mountains of Lavaland a lone miner shot his proto-kinetic accelerator through rock & stone, picking up gold and plasma as he went through. Suddenly, he found an opening. Beneath him was a sort of stone formation, definitely man (or magic) made. Then, an ash drake appeared. Its wings were red and bony and its claws were razor sharp. The miner looked at the ash drake and gave it a thousand yard stare. He knew for a fact he was cooked harder than a filet migrawr, and his face projected such. Instantly, he dropped his proto-kinetic accelerator and bent to his knees.
"Wasn't even fuckin' clone scanned", The little voice in his head spoke. The huge, bulky dragon bent down and gave the miner a sniff. It tilted it's head, thinking, "Is this really honourable? To fight an obviously defenseless man?"
Scratching its chin with a long, sharp claw, it suddenly flew away. The miner looked back up, confused. Looking out he saw the ash drake was perched on a nearby rock, watching the miner through the dark smoke that billowed off the lava nearby. Then, he slowly walked backwards, picking his proto-kinetic accelerator up and stumbling his way back to the mining base, his mind racing.
