Morning sunlight filtered through the greenhouse of Yogstation, where Twirls, the dedicated botany worker, hummed as he tended to the exotic plants. The peaceful routine was abruptly interrupted by a piercing scream.
Rushing to the lab, Twirls found Dr. Harold Fenwick sprawled on the floor, his face frozen in terror. A dark, sinister vine had wrapped around him, leaving clear constriction marks on his neck.The air was thick with the acrid smell of disturbed soil.
The team quickly gathered, their faces pale with shock. Dr. Lisa Caldwell, visibly shaken, asked, "What happened?".
Twirls examined the scene closely. Among the tangled roots of the vine, he noticed a large, dark seed partially buried in the soil. It was an unusual detail, but Twirls set it aside for now as he focused on the immediate task of securing the scene.
The investigation had just begun, and Twirls knew there were many questions yet to be answered.
