The Story of True Love - Part 1

Written By: Mason Lewis

Fiction
There once was a man who, despite reasoning, never saw much in life. He would often wonder of fantasies and explore his imagination as he sat in his lonely, old, wooden seat surrounded by like-minded peers. He would imagine himself being in worlds where one such as himself could create and the possibilities of such abilities, the things he would do, say, think, and enjoy in those worlds, and the people he would meet and interact with as he would naturally. Little did he ever think to see that this could be possible in the world he lived in already, yet appeared as if not. This, was the boundy that seperated himself from reality and the fictional world he had set himself inside of. This boundry can be described in many ways, as it has many names to be described as. The main one, however, the title given to describe and represent such a thing is known as "lonelineness." | The boy himself, let's say Michio, never gave this boundry any thought, as he had figured he had already surpassed such a thing. He is surrounded by those who make him laugh, who interest his mind, and overall make him feel pleasant about himself. He did this on purpose, as would any other human being naturally would. On the contrary, he had also never really allowed such people to get any closer to them, thus limiting his exposure of his true self. Despite how hard those around him tried, he would turn them down when they offered to invite him to their homes or go around their town, and he certainly wouldn't let anyone even know the existance of his own home. He would generally make excuses to avoid such contact or even walk away during the proposal, thus ending the conversation topic for good. He had even began to permanently ignore some who would try to get into his comfort zone forcibly, making him to be seen as "cold" or "unpleasant," when he really was neither. The truth behind this behavior of his was ignored by him while it was the most of obvious to everyone who surrounded him, and they all eventually began to ignore him completely, figuring that they didn't want to bother with such a person. This didn't bother him, since he had always been one who would rather visit the imaginary worlds he created in his imagination or through drawings than interact with those around him. In fact, he never saw this as a problem, but as an improvement, since he figured this would allow him to do so more often. It made no real difference to him regardless of his popularity. This was two months ago. The world he lived in soon came to end tonight.
