So you want to impress your co-workers with your abilities? Make the CMO feel inadequate? This is the guide for you! With just a few steps, you'll make the crew love your (legitimately useful) drugs!

  • Step One: Fill the Cryogenic beakers with Mannitol : [Hydrogen, Water and Sugar] - I prefer 30 units of each.

  • Step Two: Make over 10 Synthflesh patches. Don't bother making them contain less than 10 units each.

    GUIDE TO MAKING SYNTHFLESH EFFECTIVELY.

  • Make Styptic Powder: [10 Aluminium/Hydrogen/Oxygen/Sulfuric Acid]
    finally, add 30 Carbon.

Take your beaker out and fill it completely with your blood. Add it to the ChemMaster and remove 5 units of both Synthflesh and Styptic Powder, then add 5 blood and carbon. You now have 100 units of Synthflesh made easily.

The best way to make Synthflesh is to supply it in tiers. You never know when you'll need a high dosage as opposed to a small, and vice versa.

The number of items in each tier is as follows: Ten 25 unit patches. Twenty 10 unit patches.

(Occasionally you'll want two 50 unit patches to feel badass. It's incredibly fast compared to cryo)

    (PERSONAL TIP)

If you're heating a lot of chemicals, try setting the temperature to 1000k. The heating process speeds up drastically and there are no negative reprecussions!

  • Step Three: Make Charcoal patches: [Heat 50 oil to 480k then put the ashes in a beaker. Now make Table Salt in a separate beaker. Put 50 units of both reagents in a single beaker and heat it to 380k.]
    Table Salt is: [Water/Sodium/Chloride]

I like to have 8 patches of charcoal stocked, just in case.

Before you decide to hit up step four, head to cargo and order medical supplies, then head to Botany and see if anyone is available.
Bribe them with unstable mutagen to make them get what you need. Go see the Chaplain finally and see if he'll bless your water tank. (You did bring a water tank, right?)

  • Step Four: Make Perfluorindecalin: [Hydrogen/Fluorine/Oil at 370k]
  • (Optional) Step Five: People are complaining about their eyes being stabbed out? The clown really likes using screwdrivers?
    Make Oculine: [Charcoal/Carbon/Hydrogen]

  • (Optional) Paramedics will love you if you make Epinephrine: [Phenol/Acetone/Diethylamine/Oxygen/Chlorine/Hydrogen]

Keep in mind that you should only make Epinephrine if there's a shortage; otherwise it's a waste of time.

  • (OPTIONAL) Pentetic Acid is tricky to make, but if you feel like you'll need it, then here's how:
Make Formaldehyde first: Set the heaters to 420k/1000k so you'll slowly/nearly instantly heat your chemicals.

    Formaldehyde: [Ethanol/Oxygen/Silver at 420k]

    Make Cyanide: [Oil/Ammonia/Oxygen at 380k]

Finally, make Pentetic Acid: [Welding Fuel/Chlorine/Ammonia/Formaldehyde/Sodium/Cyanide]

Keep in mind that Pentetic Acid eliminates ALL chemicals in your system. So while it is the most immediately effective anti-toxin; it's not easy to make, and it certainly isn't great if you need to administer a wide range of chemicals to a patient.

One extra note about Pentetic acid; 5u of the stuff heals 50 units of toxin damage, so the best way to divide it is by 5u pills/patches.

Always wondered if there were secret chemistry recipes? You're right, there are!

TRIPLE CITRUS: [Orange Juice/Lemon Juice/Lime Juice]
Assuming you can get the bartender to serve your strange order, you'll find this recipe is great for party tricks.

COLORFUL REAGENT: [Stable Plasma/Radium/Space Drugs/Cryoxadone/Triple Citrus]

While not being tested extensively, this reagent allows tiles and individuals to be painted over. If you've ever wanted to permanently dye an entire person, now you can!

    CORGIUM: [Nutriment/Colorful Reagent/Strange Reagent/Blood]

This is a very strange reagent that is incredibly difficult to acquire. Why don't you find out what it does on your own?
From here, assuming the crew has the time to deal with your requests, you'll have all you need to be a master of chemistry. Just don't abuse your power, 'kay?
