The advantages between bicardine and styptic powder
and kelotane and silver sulfadiazine

At first glance it may seem that styptic and bicardine both are identical, however that would be wrong. Both have significant disadvantages and advantages. For the purpose of keeping this document condense, I'll treat both styptic and silver sulfadiazine as the same, along with their analogues

Silver Sulfadiazine and Styptic Powder

Advantages
  • Touched based application heals damage instantly
  • Remaining chemicals heal overall damage greater than injection based analogue
  • Touched based application allows damage to be healed to corpses - useful for defibbing heavily damaged patients

Disadvantages
  • Injestion or injection is dangerous

Bicardine and kelotane

Advantages
  • Chemicals are safe to inject or ingest
  • Readily availible from sleepers

Disadvantages
  • Less overall healing
  • Cannot heal dead corpses
  • Potential to overdose
Looking over, styptic powder and silver sulfdiazine is a much better method for treating someone, however bicardine and kelotane and be injected into food and given directly without repurcussions. A good rule to keep in mind is that patches should be used for first aid, while injection based analogues should be used to treat minor wounds, to conserve bruse packs and ointment, or if there is simply no other method of treatment.
