Unitology: The Red Marker

A Red Marker is a reverse-engineered copy of a Black Marker or its respective copies. It is vital in the process of Convergence. It should be noted, however, the term "Red Markers" stemmed from the coloration of man-made Marker duplicates, and not a universal description. The Red Marker is red in color because of the element Bismuth was used to replace certain elements present in the duplication of the Black Marker. Markers are duplicated not only for the Convergence Event, but also for the potential for limitless energy. By design, they resemble and function like their precursors. The marked difference, however, is the red pigment which they carry. When activated, the copies emits a highly-tuned frequency to its surroundings. No matter the size of the Red Marker created, the signal's strength remains the same. Even when a Marker is destroyed, unless utterly obliterated, the carrier wave will continue emitting from its shards. Once all fragments of a Marker are destroyed, however, the signal stops. The effects of living humans exposed to this frequency varies; a majority of humans are unable to decipher the signal, perceiving it as mere noises, images and meaning. There have been a small number of reports of this causing a person to become slightly paranoid and prone to constant hallucinations. One strangely constant hallucination seems to be the illusion of a loved one. The Government continues to make copies in the name of creating energy resources or conducting experiments, using the research information compiled by Michael Altman. As a result, the number of test labs housing Red Marks for government research has been targeted by the likes of devout Unitologists like Jacob Danik and the Circle. High Ranking Unitologists also continue to study the frequency, its effects, and the potential for energy. Some of the more rare effects are highly regarded in the Church but are kept secret to only its members and head researchers. The same goes for great volumes of information regarding Markers and Unitology itself.
