Rogue Suffix VII
Metal floors and silver halls
Too far lost for nature's calls
Captain, heads of staff, AI;
Assistants weeps and clowns will cry

Awaiting none but upmost dread
To fear the loved and love the dead
Like runners who have been outran
The name will die before the man

My planet Earth, I dearly miss
Then I was cloned by geneticists
I'm not me; just another man
Science aligns with the captain's plan
I sacrifice for the better Jones
We live in space and die alone

The Wizard
A single tall falls from my eye
The terror which brings us all to cry
The wizard, tall with staff and wand
Detached, unlocked; a broken bond

Impenetrable--as strong as led
To let us taste the sleeping dead
But security spent all their time
Beating down the dressed-up mime

Tender Fruit
Awaken here to smell the ash
Of shattered minds and broken past
Of flapping skirts and slender suits
We'll cultivate our tender fruit
