There once was an old man who lived near a lake. He was a lonely old man, who didn't go out to the city for much more than groceries. As such, his main food source was fishing, which he was exceptional at.

However, every great legend must fall, and even our old man had angered the forces of nature with his reckless fishing habits. One day, as he lay in his boat, with his bait lazily trailing the water, a great frog leapt from the depths of the lake, grabbing the bait in its mouth, and then landing onto the old man's boat. This startled the old man, who jerked the fishing line so hard that the hook shot out of the frogs mouth, whizzing towards the old man's face, before finally embedding itself in his eye.

This caused the old man to scream louder than he ever had before in his life; louder than his tour in Space 'Nam, louder that his wife giving birth to a space carp, and certainly louder than his children leaving home for the first time.

In the end, the old man had to have seventy-two stiches, not all of them on his eye socket. It was a horrifically traumatic event for all parties involved.
