A Guide to Being a Librarian
Life as a librarian can be difficult. I'll be here to help you learn the ropes. First and formost, you serve the station with an arsenal of glorious books. Your job is to print books and store them, letting others check them out for way too long. Let's start with the basics.
Printing:
to print a book, you need to find it in the archive.
1. Open the Archive.
2. Click "Print book".
3. Take the book.
At this point, you may want to scan it into the general library. not that it'll do much.
Checking out a book:
See that barcode scanner on the table? Yeah, it has a use. Switch it to "Scan into general library" and keep scanning books. It will only scan the same book once, so don't worry about scanning the same book twice.
Wait, Books are useful?
Yes, I may have forgotten to mention, with a set of wirecutters, you can hollow out a book for easy storage, but you didn't hear it from me.
