Formatting Your Paper, Part One

Some writers may be inexperienced in translating marks from their paper to the binding machines. These machines are fantastic, creating books out of mere leaves of paper -- but one thing they cannot do is properly understand formatting. This will be a quick guide to properly formatting your papers, so that the digital scanner reads each command properly and prints accordingly. Try to write legibly.
First of all, most digital commands rely on the use of brackets ( [ , ] ). Because using these on my own sheet would make the binding machine proceed with the command instead of displaying them on the paper, I will replace brackets with parenthesis. Your paper will still need to use brackets.
To make the binder break between lines -- creating different paragraphs, basically -- you must write (br). Depending on how many (br)'s there are, the binder will skip a certain amount of lines.
If you want to make the binder use extra ink to emphasize a certain word or phrase, use (b), then include
