One day, three boys from a village came across a snake. It was a baby snake without fangs. They prodded it with a stick and it rattled. They liked the sound it made, and so they kept prodding it until they got bored and went on to collect herbs. For the next few days, the boys would go out every day and play with the snake awhile before moving on. One day, when they were playing with the snake, a girl without color approached them. She had void black hair, grey eyes, and blank white skin. She was dressed in a white and grey kimono without any imagery on it. She was completely different from the colorful environment. "You should not provoke that snake," she said in a dead, inhuman voice. "Time!" the boys cried, "you are a passing thing, you have no wisdom to offer!" They sneered at her and then continued on. The next day, when they came across the snake again, it had fangs and bit one of them. He died in minutes, and the other two boys wept for days.
